We build software we actually use.

Rebellion Digital is a New Zealand software business, founded by Dan Dear.

Dan also runs Menodoctor, a specialist menopause and perimenopause clinic. That shapes everything we do: the clinic’s website, booking system, patient hub and consult platform are our work, and we rely on them every day. When something is slow or confusing, we feel it — and we fix it.

The same goes for our own products. JamJar is the household budgeting app we wanted for ourselves. Kakapo Health grew out of the consult platform we built for the clinic.

We’re based in the Bay of Plenty and work with businesses across New Zealand. Design, engineering and AI sit under one roof, so the people who design a thing are the people who build it and keep it running.

What we care about

• Honest claims — about what we’ve built, what AI does, and where data goes
• Doing it properly — tested before it ships, and looked after once it’s live
